Alamedin gorge is one of the most stunning places of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too Range, just south of Bishkek. About 40 km  from Bishkek, and it is not far from the city, it makes the gorge popular among tourists.

Alamedin also  famous for its termal waters. “Tyoplie Klyuchi” Sanatorium,  is situated, where one can bathe in naturally-heated radon water (though take the advice of doctors and don’t swim for longer than ten minutes). Further along is a complex of cottages, built in 1984 by the Ministry of Power.

The trip starts from Bishkek. Driver and guide will puck you up from your hotel. Transfer will take around 40min - 40km. Upon arrival on starting point little introduction about the area.

The trail to Alamedin waterfall goes along eponimus river Alamedin. 7 km - 3hrs. Lunch near waterfall. Walking back to the car. Return Bishkek.
